Every year we return to Guatemala. Here is what is coming up, and a look back at where we have been.
Dates to be announced · Patzún, Chimaltenango, Guatemala
Our ninth mission will return to Hospital Corpus Christi in Patzún, where our surgical team provides free operations for patients who would otherwise go without care. Alongside the surgical team, our stove team installs clean-burning cookstoves in family homes in the surrounding villages.
We need surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and scrub techs, plus non-medical volunteers for the stove team and logistics. No Spanish required.
Donations of $25 or more get a handmade scrub cap for you or your favorite OR person. Message us on Facebook to pick a design.
Each volunteer covers their own travel. Your gift helps offset costs for students and first-time team members.
